Welcome to our temporary home on the web (our director’s website until we have our own). Please use the form below to sign up to sing with us!

But, before you do, here’s a little bit more information. Keep in mind that we are in the beginning stages of organizing, so things like dues have not been decided on yet, and we don’t yet have our 501(c)(3) filed yet in order to accept donations or set a budget, etc. We’re gathering our “tribe” and organizing as we go. (Note—dues will be modest, and we will have scholarships available, so don’t worry if they’re not in your budget. We will try to fund most expenses via donations and corporate sponsorships.) We will require a modest sheet music deposit.

Dr. Ada Hunter, a professional singer & voice teacher with a lot of experience in music ministry, is our Artistic Director. She is donating her time until we are fully funded.

We are also seeking a skilled rehearsal pianist! (And a fairy godmother or godfather to sponsor them until we’re funded!)

REHEARSALS are on Tuesday evenings from 6pm to 7:45pm. (We will work to arrange carpooling as we get later in the year for members who don’t drive after dark.) Rehearsals take place at First Christian Church in Shawnee (1625 N Broadway). Use the rear/East entrance. Rehearsals are open to guests, but only if they RSVP first—please, no drop-ins.

Again, we’re in the infancy of developing our choir. We hope you’ll extend grace if we don’t have the answers to to some questions—and that you’ll join us on the adventure!

NOTE! If you cannot make it to the auditions on August 26th, please reach out to arrange for another time. Auditions are only for section placement—no one will be turned away based on auditions. But, they are important so that we don’t take time away from our first rehearsal to figure out sections.
